This is the fully assembled trigger mechanism, It consists of a small 3/4” PVC tube with a magnet and a stick in it. The stick is glued to the magnet with epoxy glue. Furthermore there is a spring (from a ball-pen) that makes the stick pop out after the tumbler magnet is gone (reset).

Here the trigger is apart. The outer tube is closed with a small plastic sheet (2 mm thick) with a hole in it. The hole guides the stick so it doesn’t get stuck anywhere. The trigger itself Is inside a smaller tube that fits exactly into the 3/4” tube. Here also you see a plastic sheet to guide the stick in it’s movement. The magnet is inside the smaller tube and the stick is glued to that. The ball-pen spring makes the trigger pop out again after the tumbler magnet is pushed away downwards in its tumbler tube (see Assembly for that).

The ball-pen spring is held at bay by a slice of rubber that I simply pierced with the stick. The stick by the way is a skewerstick used to make Sateh (Indonesian chicken on a stick for the BBQ)
