My slow tumbler is too slow!

Although on paper it works fine, my slow tumbler doesn’t cut the chase... I have no idea why but the last few launches I did have been disastrous... All of them...

Here is the latest footage. I must say we attracted quite a crowd!

Curious cows came for a look...

We had to move, the cows threatened to squash the gear!

We closed an available fence and started launch procedures... It was quite windy and we expected the rocket to be carried to the right, away from the water. Instead the rocket actually slightly turned into the wind!
Notice the water to the left behind the cows. It’ll be the cushion for my rocket when it failed again... My on-board camera popped out of the fuselage and sank, the water is too murky and deep to retrieve it. But new camera’s are already on their way! I get them at: www.xheli.com

The rocket was a 3 liter fuselage with a 9 mm nozzle. No foam. Pressure 8 bar, 1 liter water.

Earlier this season my slow tumbler also failed... It becomes a little tiresome. But hey, I can always get a tomy timer at some local store, and that is just what I’m going to do this week! Abandon the tumbler!
